Measurement Solutions was formed in 1998 by Iain Caville, and has rapidly become one of the leading providers of high quality metrology systems and services. The company has recently undergone a strategic re-structure through acquisition by IDT Group, a joint venture between the original founder and Andrew Tagg, the new Managing Director.

The re-structure has led to the formation of 2 Divisions that focus on technology and application areas within our industry. The Portable Metrology Division is dedicated to portable hand-held 3D scanners and CMM solutions for QC and reverse engineering applications, while the newly formed Metrology Integration Division focuses on automated solutions, from traditional CMM's and CMM retrofits to implementing industrial robots for QC purposes.

Both Divisions provide a range of support services including UKAS accredited calibration services and contract measurement services utilising the latest in measurement and scanning technology. The company is renowned for providing products and services to some of the UK's leading automotive, aerospace, manufacturing and educational organisations.
