Hajdúhús 2000 Kft. was founded as a family enterprise on 23 March 1998. The goal of the Company's foundation was to set such meatworks into operation that pursued production activities at high standards, in compliance with the relevant EU requirements and European standards for domestic and export sales. Main activities of the plant: purchasing of livestock, slaughtering, de-boning, cutting, meat packaging, selling of fresh meat, transportation.
The supply of professionals is backed by the education of trainees at the Company. Annually, there are nearly 140 trainees learning the tricks of the profession. In the face of the increased demand for training, we intend to establish a new training base to fully provide for the conditions of practical training. The plant has permission for slaughtering 800 pigs a day, and capacities for the de-boning, cutting and packaging of 150 tons of meat a week.
For years now, the company has been operating a HACCP-type, preventive food safety system designed and audited pursuant to the Codex Alimentarius. Since 2012, we have been applying TESCO's TFMS 5 standard for food production. For the first time in 2014, we were recognized with the High Quality Pork (KMS) qualification. The Quality Hungarian Pork Trademark that can be granted solely to Hungarian enterprises is a comprehensive system of product certification that encompasses the entire product path for pork produces.
