VTB is Europe’s first veterinary tissue bank dedicated to helping companion animals in need of tissue transplantation. Tissues such as bone and tendons are often needed in orthopaedic surgery to repair injuries such as fractures and ligament ruptures. Through an ethical donor programme, we source and process tissues that can be transplanted into patients in need. VTB also provides stem cells for treatments in dogs and cats from its onsite dedicated cell processing and storage facilities. VTB was set up by vets to help pets. |
