The macassar ebony we use is a type of wood from trees grown in Indonesia. It is very strong and durable, used mainly in making furniture and wood crafts. We use fine walnut wood from the Eastern USA which is polished to an ultra-smooth finish. This is often used as wooden interior for pianos or luxurious automobiles. Being able to endure the vagaries of climate, the walnut wood has a dense structure which contributes to the stability of the crafting process. It is very durable and suitable to wear for extensive period of time under different environments. Synthetic Wood is an artificial wood made from wood by-products and other ingredients. The formulation is a mixture of wood chips and/or sawdust, resin, binder. When combined with heat and pressure, the materials bond together to form a durable composite. ynthetic wood is designed for outdoor use.
