United Textiles FZE, forms an integral part of Yarn Business and is to be one of the biggest of its kind in all the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) states. United Textiles FZE, AED 225M cotton yarn manufacturing plant with a turnover of AED 140M is located on a spacious 44.250 sq. meter plot in Fujairah Free Zone. This project in Fujairah was selected as an ideal site for the spinning mill because of the world-class service facilities offered by the Fujairah port, the Emirates connectivity, good infrastruc-ture and low operational and living costs. The plant has a capacity of 45,600 spindles, with a labour force of 225 persons, to produce 10,000 tonnes of top quality yarn per annum ranging from count Ne 20-60s with the state-of-the-art technology from Swiss & German textile machine manufactures like Rieter, Zinser/Saurer, Schlafhorst, Trützschler and L.T.G.

Raw material - In view of the current market demand of quality, our raw material are selected after testing in our own laboratory for staple length, micronaire, tenacity, trash content and contaminations. We use selected medium and long staple cotton for making carded and combed compact yarns of superior quality.

Our quality control lab has the facility for testing all raw materials through most advanced & sophisticated testing equipment like High Volume Testing Instrument and Advanced Fibre Information System. We have raw material storing capacity of over six months, which ensures continuous high quality of yarn over longer periods.

Machinery Profile - United Textiles FZE has imported state-of-the-art technology from Oerlikon / Schlafhorst, Rieter and L.T.G. We have selected the technology because Oer!ikon Corporation has structured its activities in the staple fibre and man-made fibre technology, as well as in the non-woven, embroidery, twisting and textile component sectors into five business units to attain maximum efficiency and market strength.

We have deployed Triltzschler Blowroom line with two Blendomats and most modern opening and cleaning machines for desired trash removal. The lines are further equipped with Securomat equipment for removing foreign particles. We have latest high production Cards and Draw-frames also manufactured by Trutzschler. Our Combers for upgrading the raw material cotton to be suitable for spinning fine cotton yarns are supplied by Rieter, Switzerland. Roving and Ring-spinning machines are with automatic doffing system and are equipped with SKF Top arms for producing quality yarn. For producing superior Comb Compact yarns of medium and fine count range, we have the latest Rieter K44 machines with automatic doffing system.

In this process, the longer hairs in particular, which disrupt downstream processing, are eliminated. Branded garments and apparels are being made from compact yarns with higher premium. Final package of yarn is wound on Schlafhorst RM338 machines and passed through latest Uster Quantum 2 series yarn clearers. We use Welker, Germany machine for conditioning the yarn with automatic stretch packing facility.

Quality Assurance - We are equipped with the latest testing equipment to ensure high-quality product right from raw cotton stage to the finished yarn. Our process specialists and technicians will closely monitor every stage of production using state-of-the-art Uster laboratory tools every step of the way.

AFIS, Uster Tester-5 and Uster Tensorapid 4 assist us in giving consistent quality to our customers. In the spinning industry a lot centres on the yarn quality as deter-mined by weaving and knitting mills. Since introduction of ISO 9000 they have grown in significance in the textile industry as benchmarks in the spinning process over the past few years. In this respect, Uster statistics can make a major contribution because the modern Uster laboratory testing instruments can automatically rate the tested quality according to Uster statistics.

End Use of Our Product - Our product is, in turn, raw material for clothing manufacturers. The flexibility of yarn allows it to use in a wide range of applica-tions for household as well as industrial use. United Textiles FZE yarn will be destined to markets in Asia, USA, North Africa, Europe and Middle East.
