TREATED TIMBER
We use Remmers HK Stain Decorative, liquid wood preservative stain for use outdoors. This stain preservative is used to protect timber in outdoor areas against soft rot and blue stain. It also protects the wood from wetness and sun. The stain does not flake or peel. A higher solid content prevents gnawing by wasps. The coating also contains a film preservative to protect the film from microbial infestation, e.g. mould and algae.

MAINTENANCE
We recommend to treat the wood with Remmers HK Stain Decorative every 2-3 years. It will prevent decay due to dampness, but will not prevent damage such as warping and splitting by changing weather conditions.

A professionally covered shingle roof serves for 20 years or more. Shingles made of aspen are the most resistant to atmospheric impact, ultraviolet rays and moisture. It is maintained that this wood does not decay because its energy inhibits decay bacteria.Products made of aspen wood are not only moisture proof but also harden in the course of time.
