Working as a military medic back in the 1980's Colin Smart saw that there was a need for an aide memoire for responders to record details from an incident in a way that was easy to understand and would promote a systematic approach to casualty management.

From this initial idea TSG Associates began in 1996 when the SMART Medi Memo was born. The concepts behind the SMART Medi Memo led to the design and production of an incident management system that would enable rescue services to provide a methodical, structured response to multiple casualty incidents.

TSG Associates are now the world leaders in triage and mass casualty equipment.

We have developed the SMART Incident Command System to create an intuitive, scalable, practical incident management system that allows rescuers to command and control all types of emergency, and maximize the number of survivors.
