The unique Triton Side-Press Seed Drill (two-stage side-press) has revolutionised seed drilling – no longer is it dictated by the weather.

The Triton Drill sets seed securely, with full soil contact, without using a press, a packer or a separate roller. It also self-cleaning.

The non-inversion, low disturbance, seeding blades cut the soil open while placing the seed on to the seed terrace, where the seed is split to either side of the terrace by the soil interrupter and splitter bar.

The splitter bar then becomes the stage 1 side-press, pressing the seed and soil mixture securely onto the wall of the seeding terrace. Regardless of forward speed, there is no need for the soil to fall in around the seed because it is held on the seed terrace and pressed onto the wall. As a result, the drill can run at up to 20kmh if desired. Even at 20kmh the depth remains constant because the tines and rooting guidance wings self-regulate to a constant depth at any speed.
