As a holistic nutritionist and mom to two boys with autism spectrum disorder, we deal with food issues on a daily basis. We understand the challenges of finding healthy snacks that are kind to those with sensitive taste buds and bodies.

I also know first-hand, the reality of living with life-threatening food allergies. Growing up in the 1960's with less stringent food labelling regulations, I witnessed countless emergency room visits after my sister unknowingly consumed a food product, cross contaminated with an allergen. Frightening memories that I will never, ever forget.

Grass Roots Kitchen is our family business, created to answer the need for allergy-friendly, nutritious and delicious snacks, inspired by loved ones with food allergies, intolerances and sensitivities.
