Tackling Tables is proving to be a very effective way for schools and parents to help children learn and use times tables facts.

Tackling Tables, developed by teachers for teachers, is the only resource you will ever need to deliver a consistent, easy to implement, whole school approach to learning times tables and the inverse. Tables fluency is so useful in helping children meet the demands of 36 questions in 30 minutes in the SAT's arithmetic test.

In the 2017 SATs, mastery of tables and the inverse would have helped with:

67% of questions in the arithmetic test
52% of questions in the reasoning tests
