My name is Susan Campbell. I am, in no particular order, a designer, artist, author, farmer, wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother (let’s not even mention gardener, cook and bottle washer). And I still can’t make up my mind what to be when I grow up!
I like my life and I love the people I spend it with. I think I live in paradise, a beautiful valley, near the north Norfolk coast. My home is surrounded by woods and parkland and there is a little river, and three small lakes. Plenty of design inspiration to be found on my doorstep, courtesy of Mother Nature.
I have a large studio, filled with yarns and fabric; and countless notebooks filled with ideas (and a head bursting with more!)
For many years I have designed and made special one-off pieces. Apart from designs fashioned in a single yarn I often combine mixtures of interesting yarns and exciting fabrics, cool linens, cottons, sumptuous silks and satins. My garments are known for their ‘wow’ factor. I also make just one exclusive wedding dress a year.
