In the beginning the company started with marketing and manufacturing indigenously made Ophthalmology products. Later, more quality products including imported were added to the list.

- Suraj expanded product line by adding the following agency as direct arrangements.
- Suraj started marketing Sonomed Inc., USA ophthalmic ultrasound scanners, in agreement with M/s. Solar Opto Medic Pvt. Ltd., Rajkot.
- Suraj has its own Sales Team covering South India namely - Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Karnataka, Puducherry and Tamilnadu. Suraj Service Engineers are well trained to handle all the products. This also facilitates servicing of equipments as quickly as possible.

For effective promotion Suraj started a branch office at Cochin, Kerala State since February 2004. Future plans to start branch offices at Bangalore and Hyderabad with a view to strengthen our base and provide more support to customers.
