Solcarbon was born in 2014 from the merge of three experts on the BBQ and solid fuels market; Global Solution Charcoal, a group that specialises in the bagging of charcoal & charcoal briquettes and the production of charcoal on two sites, Belcarbon sa-nv in Chatelineau in Belgium and GSC France in Langeac.

It was founded by Giovanni Afflisio & Christian Bouvier ; Matro sa-nv from the brand SOL, experts in the sourcing of BBQ and accessories coming from all over the world and founded in 1972 by the Asselberghs family and Florasan sa-nv, specialized in international sourcing of solid fuels and the private labelling of their products, founded by Damien Bindels And Markus Tippkoetter. This merger has united knowledgeable men & women finely tuned to each of their branches of activity in Solcarbon and totalizing over 42 years of experience in the food and “do-it-yourself” retail market. Thanks to proven logistics, a decentralised stock, IED liaisons with clients, a diversified global sourcing and a unique and recognized pool of expertise, Solcarbon is a first order actor in its sector.
