Softer and Wild was founded in the picturesque East Sussex by two Fine Artists, Tatiana and Sean.

With backgrounds in graphic design, illustration, and window displays, in 2016 we decided to migrate our designs and art passions from paper to textiles. We have both always had a love and passion for working with and arranging spaces and are fans of simple, clean, beautiful interior design.

By working closely and directly with the fabric manufacturers, we develop custom fabrics for each range. We have very high sustainability and ethical standards, and subsequently the cotton is produced to high environmental standards, as well as within a fair workplace. The cotton is unbleached and untreated, and is woven in a family-run workshop before heading to our lovely screen printing studio in Sofia, Bulgaria.

All dye is water-based and is very gentle, and reflects a rustic, organic feel to our products; with current ranges using turmeric, golden autumn, sea salt, poppy red, mustard and mango colours to bring the botanical patterns to life in the home.

Our fabrics are hardworking items, with beautiful design that you will treasure. As the cotton is used, the pieces will soften and relax into your home, adorning your table with a delightful vibrancy.
