A world-leader in the field of Broccoli, SAKATA is also a key player in the market for cabbages, cauliflowers, carrots, tomatoes, peppers, watermelons and melons, to name a few.

SAKATA's European headquarters are based in Uchaud, in the South of France. The French operation started with the opening of a research centre in 1998, mainly for peppers and melons while other crops are being researched across England, Spain and Jordan.
