Ideally located for seminars and gala evenings, within a thirty-minute radius from the Bay of Saint-Tropez, the Cannes Croisette, the Gorges du Verdon and Aix-en-Provence, Château Sainte Roseline's one thousand year-old terroir is a haven where ancient and contemporary art thrive in harmony with the art of vinification. In 1994, Bernard Teillaud took the future of this wonderful estate into his hands with the intention to make it one of the gems of southern viticulture while turning it into an artistic destination.
HISTORY HAS GRACED THE CHATEAU with an exceptional double distinction. This prestigious vineyard, is one of the richest historical sites in Provence and the Cru Classé wines are regularly rewarded. 7 centuries of wine culture and a mysterious past provide a magical atmosphere, expressed in the wines, year after year.
Surrounding an Abbey of the XII th century, the nature is magnificent. Besides its outstanding wines, a cultural program of international quality is proposed. Château Sainte Roseline is a marvellous venue for events. The estate offers multiple spaces for business or private events up to 600 persons. The XIIth century Cloister, the plane tree alley and various ballrooms allow Château Sainte Roseline to organize concerts, exhibitions, weddings and meetings.
A PLACE STEEPED IN HISTORY - The body of Roseline de Villeneuve, eldest daughter of the lord of Les Arcs lies in a crystal shrine in the village’s 12th century chapel, where one can admire work of great artists: Chagall, Giacometti, Bazaine and Ubac. Château Sainte Roseline is a cultural hub that combines a centuries-old terroir, the art of wine and ancient and contemporary art in perfect harmony. Oenotourism: Several theme days are organised every year such as the plant & rose festival, summer concerts, harvest feasts and truffle days.
CHÂTEAU SAINTE ROSELINE’S WINES - With its exceptional soil and climate, as well as unique know-how, Château Sainte Roseline produces excellent fresh rosés alongside great red and white Provence wines. The outstanding 3 cuvées Cru Classé have had a makeover. While the distinctive bottle of cuvee “Lampe de Méduse”, created in 1950 by Baroness de Rasque de Laval, is unchanged, the decoration is both modern and minimalistic. Workshops, visits and tasting are organized 7 days a week.
