With around 3,500 employees, the company has onshore and offshore wind farms, photovoltaic plants and battery storage systems with a capacity of 9 gigawatts. RWE Renewables is driving the expansion of renewables in over 15 countries on four continents. An investment budget of 5 billion euros net is earmarked for further growth through to 2022. With the participation of potential project partners, our medium-term investment budget could be as high as 9 billion. The Americas, our core markets in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region are the key focus of RWE investment activity.
