Since our formation in the 1940's as Optical Measuring Tools (OMT) RPI has become a leading supplier of these systems for Gas Turbine measurement and assembly, Calibration Laboratories, Coordinate Measurement and for wider inspection and measurement applications where high precision angular accuracy and axis geometry is demanded and is recognised as a world leader in innovation and design.

The acquisition in 2011 by Huber Diffraktionstechnik GmbH based in Rimsting Germany has expanded and complimented RPI's product portfolio and customer base in the areas of research and industrial measurement.

Rotary Precision Instruments UK Ltd has maintained an on-going program of design and development, benefiting from decades of experience in the manufacture of special purpose measurement machines for Metrology. An increased product range has come through acquisitions amalgamating the Eimeldingen, Airmatic, Horstmann, OMT and Huber rotary tables enhancing the company's experience in precision rotary devices.

Rotary Precision Instruments UK Ltd is a self-sufficient organisation able to design and manufacture products to match our customer's specific requirements. All design work and manufacture is carried out by our UK trained team based at our head office in the City of Bath.
