Red Squirrel Wine was born in July 2012, specialising in wines made from native or just downright unusual grape varieties. Traditional wines endangered by the spread of 'international varieties'. In a nutshell, red squirrels not grey squirrels.

We seek out bottles from new regions, re-emerging regions and forgotten regions. Wines that tell a story, are part of the history of their region, or just breaking the mould in an awesome 'red squirrel' kind of way. We also like wines that look as good as they taste, and taste as good as they look. So we love good packaging, and even design some ourselves.

Nowadays Red Squirrel is one of the fastest growing national distributors of wine, supplying bars, restaurants, pubs and independent wine merchants in every region of Britain. Always with a smile and an unbridled love for what we do.
