CV. Sari LautJaya (SLJ) was incorporated in 1985 as a manufacturer of canned sardines. It is located in Muncar - Banyuwangi, which is one of the biggest fishing ports in the country. The cannery is merely 100 meters away from the fishing port, thus our fish supply is more abundant, fresher, and our production time from catching to canning is shorter than our competitors. SLJ is one of the leading canneries in Indonesia that prioritizes hygienic and quality control in its production. It involves in domestic retail & wholesale businesses as well as international market, especially in Asia, Africa, and Middle East.

In 2005, SLJ upgraded its production facilities using new innovative technology such as conveyor systems and automatic machines (European Machinery) to meet international requirements and standards. In addition, SLJ implemented HACCP and ISO 22000-2005 Food Safety (certified by SGS) in its production processes with quality assurance performed on all stages of the production to achieve and maintain excellent quality standards. It is currently employing more than nine hundred highly skilled workers in order to continuously improve its production processes as well as creating a safe working environment. In doing so, we are able to produce 150MT raw fish daily.

SLJ expanded its production facility to fishmeal and fish oil manufacturing the following year. Our fishmeal-processing plant is technologically advanced, constructed using Sweden Technology (Alfa Laval). The fishmeal plant is able to process the cannery waste materials (heads, tails, and entrails) at the rate up to 20 metric tons per hour, produces high quality steamed dried fishmeal with protein content up to 69% (whole fish) and crude fish oil at a rate of 2 tons per day.
