Established in 2000 Prescribing Support Services (PSS) is one of the leading NHS medicines optimisation providers in the UK supporting CCGs/Practices across the UK in delivering the medicines optimisation agenda.

PSS also provides a range of clinical services to the NHS including anti-coagulation services, COPD , Diabetes care as well as bespoke services for patients including discharge management and care home audit services.

We provide the following services:

- Practice pharmacist support
- NHS medicines optimisation services
- Specialist consultancy support to other NHS Medicines optimisation teams
- NHS commissioned disease management clinics
- Patient review and audit programmes

We employ a core team of over 100 pharmacists, nurses, & phlebotomists. The majority of our pharmacists are qualified to post graduate level and are independent prescribers.
