Sayyed Engineers Limited pioneered ballpoint pen manufacturing in South Asia when such precision engineering (tip manufacturing) in the production of ballpoint pens was thought to be possible only in the advanced countries. At Sayyed, ballpoint pens are injection molded and refills are produced using the best machines and raw materials available from top of the line sources e.g. Germany, Switzerland, Japan, etc. Detailed quality control procedures have been implemented, for which the company has obtained ISO 9001:2008 certification.

Sayyed has also established a state of the art facility for manufacturing of Wood Pencils, Erasers, Sharpners and other Stationery Products. This facility produces a complete range of Black Lead and Color Pencils and a variety of sharpner models. A wide range of packaging options such as paper boxes, poly bags, tin boxes and blister packaging are also available.

From the time of its inception in 1965, Sayyed has continued its commitment to quality and innovation. In addition to being the largest producer of writing instruments in Pakistan, it has been exporting its quality products to many countries, including USA, Brazil, Holland, Turkey, Cyprus, Iraq, Egypt, Kuwait, Russia, Afghanistan, Algeria, Madagascar, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

Sayyed produces Ballpoint Pens, Fiber Tip Pens, Fine Liners, Permanent Ink Markers, White Board Markers, Gel Pens, Soft Ink Pens, Fountain Pens, Ink Erasers, Fountain Pen Inks, Sharpeners, and Lead Pencils from two factories located in Gujranwala and Bhai Pheru, Pakistan. In addition to the head office in Lahore there are five local branch offices at Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Multan, Faisalabad and Karachi and an international office at Jebel Ali, Dubai, U.A.E.
