Plan of establishing the first factory and packaging dairy products in the name of Tehran Pasteurized Milk Factory is made with two main purpose of helping health and nutrition of people and also developing husbandry industry of the country by signing agreements on behalf of Planning Organization and Ministry of Health of Iran and UNICEF Institute affiliated to United Nations in the year 1954.

After execution of all construction affairs and purchasing and installing machinery and equipment, Tehran Pasteurized Milk Company was officially utilized in a daily capacity of 45 tons in Nov. 1957. In the first day of utilizing the factory 4800 kg raw milk was received and processed. First produced products of the factory were: pasteurized milk in anit bottles, cacao milk in Lit bottles, yogurt in 1/3 Lit bottles (Low Fat 7 Full Fat), Yogurt Drink in Lit bottles, 100 gr Glass Ice-cream, 1 Kilo Ice-cream in different flavors, packaging cheese, processed cheese, butter, creamy cheese and Kashk.

Establishing and implementing such a factory nearly half a century ago was a fundamental evolution in husbandry industry of the country and made people familiar with pasteurized products which protect their health.

Ministry of agricultural products approved articles of association of Iran Dairy Industries Company with three plants located in Tehran, Tabriz and Shiraz.

In the year 1970 that factory faced intense increase in price of raw milk on the basis of purposes of the factory and for the purpose of solving the problem of received raw milk, free milk distribution program in schools was presented to the government which was agreed.
