OPUS was founded when AHLMANN-ZERSSEN GMBH & Co. KG from Rendsburg and NauTec GmbH joined forces with the initial goal to render Ship Salvage Services in Hamburg for TITAN SALVAGE, Ft. Lauderdale.

In the meantime, NauTec GmbH is the only shareholder of OPUS MARINE GmbH.

As ship manager, OPUS provides commercial as well as technical management for offshore tonnage, provided by third parties, as well as for its own tonnage (three CTV, one guard vessel and several accommodation modules). OPUS MARINE GmbH is the exclusive partner in Germany for TURBINE TRANSFERS, UK with 45 modern Crew Transfer Vessels.

Our business focuses on the areas of offshore wind, tidal turbines supervision, GRP pipeline installation, heavy-lift operations with floating cranes, salvage & wreck removal, vessel control coordination, diving, ammunition detection, HSEQ supervision, retail of safety appliances and rental of accommodation modules.
