Oh Lovely is a small independant card and gift shop in the delightful market town of Lutterworth in Leicestershire.

In October 2010 I bought the shop from my boss as she was retiring. I had every intention of keeping the well established name of Wishbone until my Nan passed away in the July before we opened. I wanted to call it something that would remind me of her every day I went to work, answered the telephone and gave away one of our plastic (bio degradable!) bags.

A family meeting was held and lots of ideas were voiced until we came up with 'Oh Lovely'. Whenever we'd arrange an outing with Nan or shared good news with her it was always met with 'Oh Lovely!' and a clap of her hands. So after a bit of decorating my dream come true was ready to open!

We are lucky to have a wonderful team working in the shop who know our customers and are only too happy to help new ones, nothing is too much trouble. We offer a free gift wrapping service for all purchases made in the shop and also offer the best loyalty scheme in town!

So over two years in and demand has prompted us to move into the World Wide Web! My very clever husband has done his best to try and create a working web site that is easy to use and navigate.
