Nera Displays was founded in 1988. This period of totalitarian regime was difficult for start-up businesses, but as the mood within the society changed little by little, small firms were allowed to start up their business. At the same time, the transition to regular market-oriented economy was a big challenge for Nera Displays founders.

At the beginning, the company manufactured some wire programme products for households. Our products such as drain racks or clothes horses became legendary. The fast business development after the fall of the regime was demanding, which was why the company developed some new product ranges for shop and warehouse fitting. The growing competition on the market gave impetus to further development of Nera products. The company started more and more focused on display and promotion stands and third-party product sales. This trend continues until now.
