36 cores for maximum design freedom

With the Core Package System the core package of a cylinder crankcase from up to 36 different cores is built. It therefore grants the engine designers of the major automakers highest design flexibility and in liaison with high mechanical properties in the component a huge contribution to weight reduction for modern engine.

In Dillingen, per year more than two million engine blocks are manufactured in four production lines.

In addition to the modern production facilities, the site owns:
- The Product Development Center for the core package procedure within the Nemak Group
- A prototype foundry for parts in the CPS process
- The global coating center of Nemak Group
