National Cell and Tissue Centre is an innovative company focused on development and production of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) and tissue and cell processing in the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) system. National Cell and Tissue Centre develops and produces medicinal products which are based on human cells. All production complies with the applicable laws of the Czech Republic and the European Union.

National Tissue Centre has been established with the aim to become the preferred partner of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic in the field of human cell applications in the treatment of the public, according to the Explanatory Memorandum of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic of May 4, 2009, which is annexed to the Resolution No 617 of the Government of the Czech Republic.

The National Cell and Tissue Centre, the Czech leader in the field of bioimplantology, is a joint venture of the Ministry of Health and a private company, namely, PrimeCell.
