Jon was car mad as a boy; his dream cars were MGB's, Austin Healey's, E-type's and Aston Martins. Upon leaving school Jon started as an apprentice mechanic at Rootes garage moving to a Renault / Lotus dealership at 18 then on to a Jaguar main dealer at the age of 20.

Murray Scott-Nelson was established in 1977, initially working from home on anything and everything. We moved into our first premises in 1982 working exclusively on British sports cars; Jon's boyhood dream had become a reality. In 1986 we started importing some classic cars from the US and by the nineties it had turned into hundreds of cars. We soon outgrew our premises and in 1992 we moved in to our current location.

Since moving we have concentrated on Austin Healey and Jaguar sports cars, offering a very personal and old fashioned service. We now carry out all aspects of work including maintenance, sales and restoration of these iconic British sports cars with a worldwide customer base.
