Founded in 1986 in Heemstede, Netherlands, by Carl Scholtemeijer & Hans Kruijer, the engine revision services proved a success formula which quickly became a huge success, and thus a rapid grow of the company followed. A logical next step was achieved in 1997 an office building was purchased on the industrial area Waarderpolder in Haarlem, Netherlands, in order to ensure enough space and expansion possibilities for the future. Not without coincidence this site was selected as a solid location which is beautifully situated on the river Spaarne thus being able to offer a 150mtr quay to inland shipping, yachts, workboats etcetera for service and repairs.

Spaarnestad offers a repair service. There is an appropriately qualified team of mechanics formed within hours and with the necessary components to attend the problems. This is done through a purpose fleet of service van’s and a professional trailer.

Recently, our warehouse is prepared for the future with an intelligent vertical storage system installed in the building. The enormous profits of this vertical storage makes it that Spaarnestad can dispose quickly and decisively on the correct engine parts.
