The Minerva Publishing House was established in Jerusalem in 2003. Since that time it has made steady progress in developing and publishing books, dictionaries and learning aids relating to Middle Eastern languages (Arabic, Persian and Hebrew), together with works on indigenous Arab culture.
It is Minerva Publishing House’s policy to base all its titles on primary source material (recordings, etc.) gathered in the course of field work. Because this material undergoes only minimal editing, it provides the reader or student with a faithful picture of the linguistic and cultural situation under review.
The publishing house is part of the Minerva Group, which also includes a colloquial Arabic instruction school and a Middle East consultancy department.
