Micro-PackS, R&D partnership Platform, created in 2006, is the first national R & D structure in assembly of micro-technology and printed electronics dedicated to « Smart Object ». Micro-PackS is an association for industrial and academics partners, mainly hosted by the Center for Microelectronics of Provence (Gardanne) with 600 m2 of clean rooms and 200 m2 of characterization laboratories (Marseille, Toulon).

Members and guests have access to the equipment park (9mEUR) and to associated services.

The platform is designed to develop synergies around smart objects integration and security. Strong skills in PACA allow to develop opportunities in new markets and new uses while sharing the innovation risks. Micro-PackS is a global SCS Competitiveness Cluster platform governed by ARCSIS association.
