Das Unternehmen Lloyd wurde bereits 1888 in Bremen gegründet und hat seinen Hauptsitz seit 1942 in Sulingen.

Das Unternehmen unter der Geschäftsführung von Andreas Schaller und Jörg Wetzel, konnte im Jahr 2019 einen konsolidierten Unternehmensumsatz von 130 Millionen Euro mit einem Exportanteil von ca. 31 % in 48 Ländern erwirtschaften.

2019 wurden arbeitstäglich 7.100 Paar Schuhe hergestellt; davon 1.500 in Deutschland.

Mit seinen 13 Tochtergesellschaften beschäftigte das Unternehmen weltweit im Schnitt 1.913 Mitarbeiter (691 in Deutschland) und bildete 43 junge Mitarbeiter aus.

Die hochwertigen Schuhe sind in den ca. 3.200 Verkaufsstellen (2.100 national, 1.100 international), in 28 Concept Stores und 12 Factory Outlets zu erwerben.

Lloyd wurde bereits mit dem TopJob 2015, HR Excellence Award 2014, Top Marke 2018 und Best Brands Award 2019 ausgezeichnet.
