My primary drive as a visual artist has been that of story telling from a personal point of departure or connection. To establish this connection, I often use historical documents and artifacts as a visual point of departure in my work. As I have spent most of my life in the country, responding to nature and human dependence on the land are the strongest themes in my work.

Lisa Creskey is a ceramic artist who studied art at the Ottawa School of Art, Studio Art/Art History at Concordia University, and painting at Parsons School of Design in New York.

Lisa is represented by the L.A. Pai Gallery, and the Gardiner Museum Shop in Toronto carries her work as well. Her work has been purchased for numerous private and public collections, including the City of Ottawa, the P.M.O., and the Department of Foreign Affairs.
