Langset is delivering manpower, resources, products and services to the Oil & Gas Industry, Shipping & Maritime as well as processing sectors. Our head office is located in Molde, Norway with manufacturing sites both in Norway and abroad.

The Langset group was established in 1989 by the brothers Jan Tore and Odd Arne Langset.

From a local establishment with one company, the company has over the past 30 years grown to 20 companies, with a large international connection and close to 1,200 employees.

The Langset group currently supplies highly qualified personnel to both the shipbuilding industry, shipyards, offshore, electrical, process industry, ship furnishings and design, as well as the development of both new welding techniques and fishmeal factories. The company also has its own workshops where everything from ship repair to prefabrication is carried out from Hammerfest in the north to Bergen in the south.

In 2020, a younger generation of Langset joined the ownership side. With their local affiliation, the cousins Anders and Leif Magne Langset have a clear ambition to continue a controlled growth in line with the UN's goals for sustainable development.
