It is already twenty years that the Kompek bakery in Kladno has been baking products for you according to traditional and time-proven recipes, which are liked by both local people and people from further away.

However, the Skuthan and Nozar families have not always owned the bakery and they, therefore, could not participate in its development. This family tradition is connected to important events in the history of the town of Kladno and the Czech country as a whole. Thanks to the convenient location near the capital city of Prague and in the picturesque Central Bohemian Region, a bakery, a mill and a factory for the production of pasta and gingerbread started their operation in Kladno in 1921. Yes, even these regional specialities were made in Kladno.
