Kobus Services
We are a UK company creating innovative products for the utility industries worldwide. The company is the home of the ORIGINAL Kobus Pipe Puller. Our trenchless technology allows water and gas service pipes to be removed from the ground and replaced with a new pipe in a single operation. Due to the method, there is minimal risk of utility strikes and reduced customer disruption.

Early Years
Kobus Services was first incorporated in 2005 and based in Halesowen UK. The original Pipe Puller itself was launched in 2011 following several years of R&D work. The product was revolutionary. Consequently, numerous innovation awards followed from key industry associations – Pipeline Industry Guild, UKSTT, NJUG and SBWWI Water Dragons.

Utility Industry Funding
In 2014, significant funding was secured through the Gas Industry Network Innovation Alliance. As a result, we were able to develop a bigger, more powerful Puller. The KPP400 Puller is the latest model, mounted on a compact excavator, and driven from the auxiliary hydraulics.

KOBUS PRODUCTS

KPP300 PIPE PULLER
The original Kobus Pipe Puller, the KPP300. This machine is modular for ease of handling and is driven from its own, separate hydraulic power pack. The KPP300 Pipe Pullers must be used in conjunction with Kobus recommended Accessories and Consumables.

KPP400 PIPE PULLER
The all NEW Kobus Pipe Puller, the KPP400. This is the big brother of Pullers that mounts on an excavator and is powered by the auxiliary hydraulics of the excavator. Both Pipe Pullers must be used in conjunction with Kobus recommended Accessories and Consumables.

KPP400 TRANSPORTATION CRADLE
The KPP400 transportation and storage cradle is ideal for transporting and storing the Kobus Pipe Puller safely and all-in-one. In use, the Puller is mounted on a 2 – 3 tonne excavator, and has to be transported to and from site. When not in use, the Puller needs to be safely stored, ideally together with the consumables and accessories / tools to ensure everything is to hand ready for the next job.
