Root of Glycine Tomentella Hayata (GTH)

Glycine Tomentella Hayata (GTH), the wild perennial soybean species, is indigenous to the remote farmlands of the Kinmen island between the shores of eastern China and Taiwan. This hybrid between the soybean and its wild perennial relatives show pod abortion and are totally sterile. It is one of the world's most important sources of protein and oil, making it Kinmen's most valued treasure.
