Established in Sheffield in 1969, after 30 years dealing "over the counter" we moved to Staithes
in May 1999 and began selling online. Discovering that the market for Sheffield and South Yorkshire books was worldwide we continued to specialise in the local and
industrial history of the region. Steel, mining, cutlery and the tool trades whilst slowly expanding our knowledge and stock of material relating to Staithes & the North East
Coast, its historians authors & artists. We are currently working on a large collection of Victorian fiction which will take several years to list and includes Crime Detective
