Das IT-Center Dortmund, kurz ITC, bietet als Hochschule einen dualen Studiengang im Bereich Informatik an. Eine der größten Besonderheiten des Studiums "Bachelor of Science IT- und Softwaresysteme" ist der starke Fokus auf Praxis sowohl im Beruf als auch in Übungs- und Praktikumsstunden innerhalb des Unterrichts.

Außerdem bietet das Studium am ITC die Möglichkeit, nach nur 4 Semestern Dualstudium in die Vollzeit-Berufstätigkeit zu wechseln, um die restlichen Inhalte in einer berufsbegleitenden Studiumsphase zu absolvieren. Kleine Lerngruppen mit maximal 30 Personen ermöglichen in Vorlesungen einen intensiven Austausch mit den Dozenten. In Übungsgruppen, Praktika und Vertiefungsveranstaltungen wird das Lernen noch intensiver und die Lerngruppen noch kleiner.
