ISS Group Services was formed in 1977 by David Cunningham. Many people in the close-knit electron optics community know the company and its reputation for always putting the customers’ problems first.

With many years of experience as a microscopist and engineer David was aware of a gap in the market for an independent service organisation which could offer cost effective engineering capabilities for electron optics and associated analytical instrumentation.

ISS can install and service the latest instrumentation and accessories, but also supply and support pre-owned equipment and offer engineering services on an ad-hoc casual basis or as an annual service contract tailor made to meet customers’ individual needs.
