Through education, we can learn languages and how to interpret symbols and pictures. We learn where we come from, where we are today and where we are heading. Through education, we learn how to question and develop our own thoughts and how to help others do the same. Through education, we learn that all human beings are different, but at the same time similar, and we learn how to use the different assets that we have in order to collaborate for a better future with sustainable development.

Illumino’s final goal is to create an alternative school where all beings have the possibility of developing their special talents, always keeping in mind the specific needs and possibilities of every single individual. In order to do this, we use different educational systems in order to teach everyone self-awareness, a good knowledge of languages, creativity, and social competence.

We focus on four different areas where we show the way to personal enlightenment and self-awareness with a new and creative way of thinking:

- Emotional and social competence (EQ): An important quality of our modern society is to be able to cooperate and to be social. Self-awareness is an asset.

- Wellness: It’s important to know your body and to listen to it in order to keep it as healthy as possible.

- Painting: Learning to paint is not only a technique but also a way to allow your subconscious to speak freely, especially if painting follows after practicing yoga and meditation.

- Language: Language is a way to communicate and communication is necessary for us in order to understand each other. The way we use our language is crucial in many ways and, therefore, utterly important.
