Hermith GmbH was established by opening an office in Munich, Germany. Initially, Hermith’s competence was in the supply of titanium and aluminium alloys to a small number of German motorsport sub contractors.

Hermith’s reputation grew and enquiries from the aerospace market began to filter through. To satisfy the growing demand, the company turned to the world’s largest and most trusted source of titanium alloys, VSMPO-AVISMA of Salda, Russia. A firm business relationship was forged and Hermith invested in a modest 20 tonnes of aerospace certified material. Stocking material direct from Airbus’s preferred source of titanium proved to be a sound investment and the company began to build a loyal customer base across Europe.

Today, the company is active in over 30 countries across the globe and carries a stock of over 300 tonnes of Titanium Grade 5 (Ti6Al4V) Sheets, Plates, Bars and Billets. The majority of that success is owed to Hermith’s trust in its highly qualified and multi national sales team, which now stands at seven people.

Through an industrious and tenacious approach, Hermith has built up a substantial customer base and is now supplying titanium for both the spot demands and the long term requirements of its customers.
