Lesvos Gold® as a premium extra virgin olive oil has the finest balance in terms of flavor, aroma, color and acidity levels. It is produced only by mechanical extraction methods with no chemicals applied, comes only from first cold pressing and has an oleic acidity level of less than 0.35 percent. Acidity level is the most important factor which determines the olive oil’s supremacy. It is the percent measure of the free fatty acid content; the lower the acidity the better the olive oil. It is the freshness, the quality and the acidity that makes all the difference!
