Gold Standard is an advanced stage gold exploration company focused on district scale discoveries on the Railroad-Pinion gold project in Nevada's Carlin Trend. The Project is located at the southeast end of the Carlin Trend, a northwest alignment of sedimentary rock hosted gold deposits that hosts some of the world's largest gold mines. Since the mid-1960's more than 40 separate gold deposits have been delineated along the Carlin Trend, where past production, reserves and resources exceed 100 million ounces of gold. Since 2009, Gold Standard has continuously added value through land consolidation; discoveries at North Bullion (2010), Bald Mountain (2013) and Sylvania (2012); and most recently two new maiden NI 43-101 compliant, oxide, near-surface gold resources at the Pinion Deposit (2014) and the Dark Star Deposit (2015). Pinion and Dark Star offer GSV a potential near-term development option and further consolidate the Company's premier land package in the Carlin Trend. |
