The Company has been operating in Italy since 1947 when it started under the name of his founder Gino Benuzzi, who was a man of exceptional creativity and curiosity, then it changed in Giben.

After having manufactured tens of thousands of "traditional" woodworking machines, thanks to his talent and attention to changes of the marketplace with the coming of the large-size chipboards, in the '70s the intuition to build a machine which did not exist yet - the pressure beam panel saw with moving blade.

Together with his wife Lidia and the son Piergiorgio already engaged in the company, he starts an era which will see an exponential growth of the company. At the first in Italy and immediately afterwards in Germany, France, United Kingdom, Eastern Europe, United States of America, Brazil, China, etc.

New and continuously evolving ideas arise from the growth of the exports. Purposely tailored solutions for the several types of materials, even taking into account different production volumes and the need for a higher automation; so many variables are introduced to the basic machine and the few models of the beginning become several ranges of product with tens and tens alternatives in just a few years to come.
