After more than 25 years of experience on ships, the brothers made a groundbreaking decision. In 1996 you decide to start a ship building company. A logical step, as they often had ships built under their own management. Then they put these ships into service themselves. In 2000, the brothers started the building activities specializing in inland shipping. Due to the excellent quality and the adherence to their personal and reliable approach, De Jonge Shipbuilding Services soon became a well-known name in shipbuilding.
