The sensitivity for the universe of artistic production is the main engine that guides the vision of the gallerist Eduardo Fernandes.

His formal education in anthroposophy prepares his worldview that supports the capacity of questioning - thinking - and the experimentation through manual training - acting. The choice for Architecture as a possibility for the articulation between creation and its manifestation in the world, in the space, was, therefore, natural.

During his six years as an architect in São Paulo - executing his projects in several Brazilian cities - he expanded his imagery repertoire. During this period, he returned to something that has been interested since his childhood with a renewed research purpose: visiting art exhibitions in museums and galleries. Besides, he was interested in the current production of artists while visiting their studios. He worked as an art advisor until 2005, the year he decided to open and work exclusively for his own gallery, the Galeria Eduardo Fernandes.

Currently representing a team of 15 Brazilian and 5 foreigner’s artists who produce in various art mediums, Eduardo Fernandes has been participating in national and international art fairs since 2011, has produced 78 exhibitions in the gallery space in São Paulo and over 30 shows accompanying his artists in Museums and Art Institutions, in Brazil and around the world.
