Fulford Preparatory College is located in historic Merrickville, Ontario (known as "The Jewel of the Rideau") and acclaimed as Canada's Most Beautiful Village by Communities in Bloom. The school’s campus has a rich history dating back over 150 years. It is one of the town’s most notable 19th century Victorian buildings, constructed as a home in 1861 by local merchant and entrepreneur Sam Jakes. Functioning as a heritage inn for several decades, our campus has retained much of its original charm, and overlooks the picturesque Rideau River and Canal System (a UNESCO World Heritage Site).
