We are a small British company dedicated to making cycling fun for children. We believe that the lighter the bike, the easier it is for children to learn to ride, and to enjoy it more as they progress. Many kids' bikes on the market weigh nearly as much as the child!

So we set about re-designing kids' bikes, creating a light but strong aluminium frame, and hand-picking components that offer a high performance without compromising the weight.

Our bikes are now also much easier to pedal due to a unique crank design from the renowned bicycle engineer Dimitris Katsanis (of Team GB Olympic fame). The new design reduces the Q-factor (the space between the pedals), allowing children to push more directly down when cycling, so converting more of their energy into motion. Only Frog applies this level of rigour to the design of kids' bikes.

We sell bikes through independent bike stores throughout UK and mainland Europe, in US and Canada, South Africa, Hong Kong, and Japan, and directly to customers worldwide through this site. In fact, in November 2015 we won the Export Business of the Year award at the Start-ups Awards!

Our environment is an important factor in all the decisions we make as a business, from recycled packaging to generating our own electricity in the office. We have also developed the Leapfrog programme for second hand Frogs in the UK... Anything to keep old bikes out of land-fill.
